Return policy
Castle Chess solid wood Chessboards are Guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship and material. We
offer a "no questions asked" return policy on all of our chess boards.
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied
with your new Castle Chess Chessboard, then please contact us within 30 days of receipt, after which you may return the board in its
original condition and packaging to receive a full refund.
Quality
Castle Chess chessboards have been hand
made to provide years of service.
We offer a 5 year limited warranty on workmanship and materials. If your board has clearly
been cared for, and it exhibits signs of cracking or separation of bonded joints, we will repair or replace the board in part or in
whole at our discretion.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage from the board being dropped, scratched, exposed to direct
sunlight, exposed to water, or any other form of damage beyond our control.
The warranty is restricted to the original purchaser
who’s name and date of purchase is in our files.
How to care for your board
Caring for your board is as simple as treating
it like a piece of fine furniture. Apply a light coat of clear BriWax twice a year in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
BriWax is obtainable at www.briwax.com. Please comply with the makers instructions provided. Wipe the board occasionally
with a soft cloth. Do not use household cleaners or polishes on the board. Keep the board out of direct sunlight, and do not expose
it to water, other liquids, and other forms of direct heat or cooling.
